Program
Description:
This course is an introduction to Emotionally Focused Therapy for
Couples and will include lecture, discussion and video examples. The
course will overview attachment theory, working with emotion,
working with interaction and the nine steps of EFT. This
course is intended for participants who have not had previous
training in EFT.

This program includes 3 hours of
continuing education. The Maryland Center for EFT is approved by the
American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education
for psychologists. The Maryland Center for EFT maintains
responsibility for this program and its content. The Maryland Board
of Social Work Examiners authorizes this organization as a sponsor
of Category I continuing education for social workers and associates
licensed in Maryland.
