announces local clinical trial with EFT

The Marriage & Family Therapy program at Virginia Tech is
conducting a clinical trial on Emotionally Focused Therapy for
couples experiencing relationship problems and depressive
symptoms. Please consider referring couples to the study.
Interested couples should call the Center for Family Services
(
 703-538-8470)
and, if they qualify, they will receive deeply discounted
services ($40 per session) from licensed therapists in
Northern Virginia, DC, or Maryland.
We have found that many couples who call for help with their
relationship problems also experience a qualifying level of
depressive symptoms (required for at least one partner), but
if they don't qualify, we can help them find other services.
